  1. Hey i was hoping someone could help me. im kind of a noob when it comes to computers so a simple explanation would be great. I just build my first PC and everything was working good (other then the graphics card for some reason). well i turned it on and i got the "repairing disk errors this might take over a hour" screen. PC is running on windows 10 and i tried to use a windows 10 disk to use the repair option and it game me a error screen that says "To use System Restore, you must specify which windows installation to restore. Restart this computer, select an operating system, and then select System Restore." And then it just says close then it brings me back to the previous screen. Now I'm stuck because i don't know what that means. Here's my build PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-7500 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($197.99 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: ASRock B250 Pro4 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($93.98 @ Newegg) Memory: Mushkin Blackline 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($83.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Seagate BarraCuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($48.77 @ OutletPC) Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB GT OCV1 Video Card ($247.89 @ OutletPC) Case: Corsair SPEC-01 RED ATX Mid Tower Case ($52.70 @ Jet) Power Supply: SeaSonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($50.89 @ Newegg) Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($17.98 @ Newegg) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit ($88.58 @ OutletPC) Monitor: Asus VS228H-P 21.5" 1920x1080 Monitor ($108.99 @ SuperBiiz) Keyboard: Cooler Master Devastator II Wired Gaming Keyboard w/Optical Mouse ($28.99 @ SuperBiiz) Speakers: Logitech S120 2.3W 2ch Speakers ($11.98 @ NCIX US) Total: $1032.73 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2017-02-04 19:45 EST-0500
