Intel, Micron reveal Xpoint, a new memory architecture that could outclass DDR4 and NAND

 

Intel and Micron jointly announced that they may have created it. The new 3D Xpoint memory architecture is designed to address critical shortcomings of both NAND flash and DDR4.

Microsoft Warns Windows 7 Has Serious Problems

 

 

 

Speaking to Windows Weekly, Microsoft Marketing chief Chris Capossela explained that users who choose Windows 7 do so “at your own risk, at your own peril” and he revealed Microsoft has concerns about its future software and hardware compatibility, security and more.

There’s only one problem with Capossela’s statements: they are complete rubbish.

Microsoft sues US government over gag orders.

To hell with lying back gagged when the Feds come looking for its customers’ data, and to hell with the passive act of putting out warrant canaries  to flag when it’s happening: Microsoft is now on the offensive.
