Startup Repair taking long time

After having my laptop repaired due to hardware problems, I encountered another problem right after I got it back. I was transferring files from my C: partition (using Ctrl+X), it was working alright until the laptop just froze up and wouldn't work. I've encountered this several times before and the only thing I could do was to manually power it off.

I do it that way again and when I did, I heard a very loud click, then it brought me to the options to boot up normally or to repair. Well, it kept bringing me to the Startup Repair screen without even loading up Windows, so I was essentially stuck in a loop.

I finally got the repair running. But it's been repairing disk errors for over 12 hours now.

Could I ask for advice on how to proceed from here? Thank you.
